Role Overview

The Social Media Strategy Intern will play a crucial role in enhancing MAXION's brand presence on Instagram and Facebook. This position requires creativity, organizational skills, and a strategic mindset to craft and execute a compelling social media strategy that portrays MAXION as a premium, relatable, and community-oriented brand. The intern will work closely with the founding team and have substantial responsibility for content planning, creator engagement, and measuring campaign success.

Responsibilities

• Design and implement a clear social media content strategy including content pillars, appropriate tone, formats, and posting cadence aligned with product launches, events, and growth objectives.
• Develop and maintain a monthly content calendar.
• Create and distribute content through various formats including Reels, Stories, Carousels, Posts, and Facebook Groups/Pages; adapt content for TikTok and YouTube Shorts.
• Transform voice notes, user stories, and cultural insights into engaging content.
• Organize and handle phone-based shoots with basic video editing using tools like CapCut or Adobe Express.
• Repurpose content smartly across platforms to enhance reach and engagement.
• Facilitate community engagement through polls, Q&As, story prompts, events teasers, and actively manage audience interaction following guidelines.
• Support collaborations with venues, communities, and content creators in Dubai.
• Monitor social media performance metrics weekly and conduct small experiments to optimize engagement and conversions.
• Maintain performance tracking dashboards and deliver weekly summaries to the team.

Requirements

• Passionate and well-versed in Instagram trends and strategies, especially Reels-first content and creator collaborations, up to date for 2026.
• Ability to establish and maintain a premium, aesthetically modern, and minimalist brand look.
• Excellent writing skills with ability to generate short, impactful hooks and emotionally resonant captions.
• Proactive work ethic focused on delivering quality content efficiently.
• Data-driven mindset capable of iterative improvements based on analytics rather than intuition alone.
• Alignment with MAXION’s mission to foster genuine connections and promote healthier dating practices.

Preferred Skills & Tools

• Strong familiarity with Instagram and Facebook content guidelines and best practices.
• Proficiency in short-form video editing tools such as CapCut or Adobe Express.
• Experience with basic design software including Canva or Figma.
• Organizational skills using platforms like Notion or Google Sheets for content scheduling.
• Bonus skills: photography and directing for user-generated content, working with creators and ambassadors, basic Meta Business Suite usage, copywriting for conversion, repurposing content for TikTok and YouTube Shorts, updating LinkedIn company pages.

Success Metrics (First 30–60 Days)

• Establishment of a consistent content system utilizing pillars, templates, and cadence.
• Delivery of 20 to 40 pieces of quality content with a reliable workflow.
• Noticeable growth in engagement and steady weekly conversion rates into MAXION membership.
