Gregory, recognized as PR Agency of the Year by PR Daily and listed among PRWeek's Best Places to Work, is seeking a driven and inventive Social Media Specialist to become part of our team in the Greater Philadelphia area. This individual will develop and execute strategic paid and organic social media plans, craft engaging content, and convert performance analytics into actionable insights.

Key Responsibilities

  • Oversee paid and organic social media initiatives for multiple clients, ensuring they align with broader marketing objectives.
  • Create innovative and compelling social content aimed at boosting engagement and meeting client goals.
  • Design bespoke social media strategies tailored to each client's audience, business aspirations, and needs.
  • Take ownership of campaign outcomes, providing clear communication on results to PR teams and clients.
  • Analyze social media statistics and transform data into meaningful suggestions for clients and colleagues.
  • Participate actively in client meetings and calls, offering informed viewpoints on campaign strategies and effectiveness.
  • Clearly present Gregory's social media services during client interactions, proposals, and sales engagements.
  • Keep up-to-date with emerging social media platforms, trends, AI technologies, and integrate relevant insights back to the team.

Required Qualifications and Skills

  • Extensive familiarity with major social media platforms including Facebook, Instagram, LinkedIn, X, YouTube, and TikTok.
  • Hands-on experience managing paid social advertising campaigns across key platforms.
  • Knowledge of social media management software such as Sprout Social and Hootsuite, and skill in leveraging these tools across accounts.
  • Understanding of AI applications that can augment social media marketing efforts.
  • Capability to interpret social media metrics and translate them into strategic guidance.
  • Creative thinking for generating diverse content ideas tailored to various audiences and formats.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication proficiency.
  • Proactive approach, flexibility, and the ability to handle evolving priorities in a dynamic agency setting.
  • Collaborative spirit paired with a constructive and solution-driven mindset.

Educational and Professional Background

  • Bachelor’s degree in communications, digital media, public relations, creative arts, or a related discipline.
  • More than four years of demonstrated experience in professional social media roles.
  • Previous experience working in an agency environment is preferred.
  • Proven success in creating and implementing social media campaigns that deliver quantifiable results.
