Role Overview
Air Apps is hiring a Social Media Specialist for a full-time, on-site role based in Lisbon. The position focuses on creating and publishing engaging social content for company and product channels, strengthening brand presence, and helping build an active community around the brand.
You will partner with Marketing, Product, and Design to develop content that drives interaction, supports launches and hiring efforts, and keeps audiences informed and engaged. This is an in-office role, and relocation support is available for suitable candidates.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop, write, and publish engaging content across social channels such as Instagram, TikTok, LinkedIn, and other relevant platforms.
- Maintain and organize publishing calendars for both company-wide and product-specific accounts.
- Write thoughtful comments and community-facing responses that encourage dialogue and improve visibility.
- Monitor follower activity and interact with the audience to support community growth.
- Work with internal stakeholders to align social content with product releases, hiring drives, and other business initiatives.
- Review performance data and engagement indicators to refine content direction over time.
- Keep up with social media trends, platform updates, tone, and content best practices to ensure fresh and relevant output.
Requirements
- Approximately 1 to 3 years of experience in social media management, digital writing, or online community engagement.
- Excellent writing ability with a knack for creating short, clear, and compelling social copy.
- Working knowledge of major social platforms, including Instagram, TikTok, and LinkedIn, along with their content norms.
- Experience handling multiple brand accounts or page portfolios.
- Strong sense of ownership, attention to detail, and personal organization.
- Comfort working with cross-functional teams in a fast-paced setting.
- Fluency in English is required; Portuguese would be an added advantage.
