Role Overview

The Social Media Officer is instrumental in shaping and maintaining the charity’s digital footprint. Working under the guidance of the Social Media Manager, the position involves managing social media channels to boost awareness, engagement, and trust. This role combines practical channel management with proactive community interaction to ensure online platforms are informative, supportive, and aligned with the organizational goals.

Key Responsibilities

  • Oversee daily content posting on the charity’s social media platforms such as Facebook, Instagram, LinkedIn, X, and TikTok, ensuring material is punctual, precise, and consistent with the brand identity.
  • Serve as the initial contact for social media inquiries, delivering empathetic, clear responses, and directing individuals to appropriate resources or services as required.
  • Contribute innovative ideas to develop new campaign tactics, content formats, and partnership opportunities.
