Position Overview
A reputable and fast-moving company located in downtown Toronto is seeking a meticulous Paid Social Specialist for a 6-month contract role with the possibility of extension. This hybrid role requires presence in the office three days a week and remote work for two days. The compensation ranges from $30 to $32 per hour, plus 4% vacation pay.
Role Summary
The successful candidate will play a key role in supporting, executing, and optimizing paid social media campaigns. The role suits a data-focused professional with expertise in social media advertising platforms, capable of collaborating effectively to achieve measurable business outcomes.
Key Duties
- Contribute to the formulation and execution of paid social media strategies that align with corporate goals.
- Manage and oversee active advertising campaigns on platforms including Facebook/Instagram, LinkedIn, TikTok, and others.
- Analyze campaign data, track performance, and apply optimizations to meet defined KPIs.
- Serve as the primary contact for campaign inquiries, issue resolution, and updates.
- Compile and deliver performance reports and insights to key stakeholders.
- Work collaboratively with internal teams and external parties to ensure flawless execution of campaigns.
- Identify potential challenges and proactively suggest improvements to enhance outcomes.
Qualifications and Experience
- Bachelor’s degree preferred in marketing, advertising, business, communications, or a related area.
- Minimum of two years’ experience in paid social media campaign planning and implementation.
- Hands-on familiarity with major social advertising platforms, such as Meta, LinkedIn, and TikTok.
- Strong analytical capabilities to interpret campaign data and inform actionable decisions.
- Advanced skills in Microsoft Office, particularly Excel.
- Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, including presentation abilities.
- Demonstrated capacity to handle multiple projects and adhere to deadlines within a fast-paced setting.
- Certifications such as Facebook Blueprint, Twitter Flight School, or Snapchat credentials are advantageous.
