Job description
About the Role
A luxury cosmetic dermatology practice on the Upper East Side of New York City is looking for a highly creative, detail-oriented, and self-driven Social Media & Marketing Manager. The role is designed for someone who can handle several functions at once, from content production and advertising to community outreach and public relations, while helping the practice expand its reach and strengthen its premium brand image.
This position suits a person who enjoys creating stories through content, understands high-end branding, and works well in a collaborative, fast-moving setting.
Social Media and Content Creation
- Build and run a full social media plan across Instagram, TikTok, Facebook, LinkedIn, YouTube, and new or emerging platforms.
- Produce, edit, and publish short-form videos, Reels, educational posts, before-and-after spotlights, and behind-the-scenes content.
- Capture photos of treatments, products, events, and the office environment while preserving a refined luxury look and feel.
- Draft engaging captions and organize monthly content schedules.
- Keep up with platform trends without losing the practice’s brand identity.
Digital Marketing
- Oversee and improve Meta and Google ad campaigns.
- Track campaign results, website traffic, lead generation, and return on investment.
- Work with website and SEO partners to strengthen online performance.
- Support email marketing, newsletters, promotional campaigns, and patient communications.
- Spot new marketing ideas that can improve patient acquisition and retention.
Public Relations and Community Outreach
- Develop relationships with local businesses, media contacts, influencers, and community groups.
- Coordinate events, educational sessions, and community-focused activities for the practice.
- Assist with media opportunities, press releases, and physician brand-building.
- Create partnerships that raise the practice’s visibility and reputation.
Brand Management
- Make sure all marketing collateral reflects the elevated positioning of the practice.
- Maintain consistency across digital and print materials.
- Develop and execute inventive campaigns that help the practice stand out in the luxury aesthetics market.
Work Environment
This is mainly an on-site role based in the Upper East Side office. The practice prefers in-person collaboration for capturing content, interacting with patients and physicians, and staying closely connected to day-to-day activity.
Compensation and Benefits
- Salary is competitive and will be determined based on experience.
- Paid vacation and holidays.
- Health coverage.
- Opportunities for professional growth and development.
- Employee pricing on skincare products and cosmetic treatments.
- The chance to work with a nationally recognized cosmetic dermatologist in a high-performing, collaborative setting.
- 401(k) contributions.
Application Materials
Applicants should provide a resume, a portfolio or examples of social media accounts they have managed, samples of video content they have created, and a brief cover letter explaining their interest in the role and how they would contribute to the brand’s growth.
Additional Notes
Experience in cosmetic dermatology, plastic surgery, medical aesthetics, beauty, luxury hospitality, or luxury consumer brands is beneficial but not mandatory. The practice places greater value on creativity, strong marketing instincts, and the ability to enhance a premium brand.
