Job description
Role overview
This opportunity is designed for a university student or early-career candidate who wants practical exposure to digital marketing. You’ll be trained by an experienced team member who has handled more than $1M in ad spend and delivered campaigns for major brands such as Nike, Adidas, and Tommy Hilfiger. The role offers a chance to understand how the industry works in practice and decide whether it’s the right career path for you.
It suits someone studying marketing, communications, business, or anyone naturally interested in how brands build their presence online.
What you’ll learn and do
- Get hands-on exposure to paid advertising, including Google Ads and Meta Ads, along with the thinking behind campaign strategy.
- Produce relaxed, engaging behind-the-scenes content featuring the team for the company’s own social channels.
- Support the growth and day-to-day management of Maximize Marketing’s social media presence across different platforms.
- Collaborate with the wider team on active client campaigns and live ad spend.
What the team is looking for
- A bright, outgoing personality that adds positive energy to the workplace.
- Familiarity with basic social media content formats such as stories, reels, and posts.
- Confidence being on camera or contributing to content creation.
- A willingness to learn, take initiative, and grow, even without prior experience.
- No formal qualification is required; enthusiasm and attitude are valued more highly than a degree.
Work details
- The position is based in Condell Park, New South Wales 2200 and is fully office-based.
- Working pattern is 3 days per week, 8 hours each day, totaling 24 hours weekly.
- Start timing is immediate/ASAP, though the schedule is flexible for the right applicant.
- There is potential for the role to move into a part-time or full-time position depending on performance.
