Job description
Company Overview
Voltas is a U.S.-based organization that delivers accelerated, end-to-end medical device development and manufacturing through a single integrated setup. The company combines project management, budgeting, and timelines under one roof and supports work across research and development, rapid prototyping, app and PCB development, sensor and wearable solutions, and advanced production methods such as injection molding, RF and ultrasonic welding, and laser etching.
Along with product development, Voltas provides regulatory support, including submissions, testing, sterilization validation, and packaging and labeling services. The business also helps bring products to market through marketing, social media, merchant services, distribution, warehousing, and a dedicated medical sales function.
Role Overview
This is a full-time, on-site Social Media Manager position in the United States. The selected professional will be responsible for building and managing Voltas’ social media presence, creating content that highlights the company’s medical device capabilities and service offerings, and ensuring consistent brand messaging across platforms.
What You Will Do
You will handle daily publishing, community interaction, and social listening while working closely with marketing and technical teams to turn complex offerings into clear, engaging content. The role also involves developing social media strategies, improving campaign performance for visibility and engagement, and reviewing metrics to guide ongoing improvements. Collaboration with designers and writers, maintaining brand alignment, and keeping up with platform trends and best practices are also key parts of the job.
Qualifications
Candidates should bring strong social media marketing and optimization skills, along with hands-on experience managing a brand’s presence on major platforms. Solid content strategy and writing ability are needed to craft accurate and compelling messages, and strong communication skills are important for teamwork and audience engagement. Experience using social media analytics tools and making data-led campaign adjustments is expected. Applicants should also be comfortable translating technical or medical device topics into easy-to-understand content. A bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Communications, Digital Media, or a related field, or equivalent practical experience, is preferred. Experience in healthcare, medical devices, or technology is an advantage but not mandatory. The role requires an on-site presence in a fast-paced, collaborative setting with the ability to manage several priorities and deadlines.
