Ekatva Welfare Foundation is a Section 8 non-profit entity that partners with government bodies and urban local authorities to run projects focused on social impact, public awareness, IEC, and digital communication. Its work spans social media handling, citizen participation, environmental awareness, and outreach initiatives designed to generate measurable community outcomes.

Role Overview

This position is for a Social Media Manager who will oversee the official digital communication for the Lucknow Nagar Nigam Project. The role calls for a candidate who can develop engaging content, administer social platforms, document government-led initiatives and events, work closely with project teams, and contribute to public awareness efforts.

Location and Employment

The role is based in Lucknow, Uttar Pradesh, and requires on-site presence. This is a full-time opportunity.

Core Duties

  • Handle the organization’s official social channels, including Facebook, Instagram, X, YouTube, and LinkedIn.
  • Design and produce campaign material such as graphics, reels, short videos, and awareness content.
  • Prepare and maintain monthly posting calendars and campaign schedules.
  • Attend and document government events as well as field-based activities.
  • Liaise with government representatives and internal project teams for coordination and approvals.
  • Draft compelling captions, campaign copy, and other communication assets.
  • Track platform performance and compile monthly progress reports.
  • Keep up with current social media trends and digital marketing methods.
  • Publish content on time after approval.
  • Ensure consistent brand presentation across all digital platforms.

Required Profile

  • A bachelor’s degree in Mass Communication, Journalism, Marketing, Digital Media, or a similar discipline.
  • 1 to 3 years of experience in social media management or digital marketing.
  • Good working knowledge of Facebook, Instagram, X, LinkedIn, and YouTube.
  • Hands-on experience with Canva, Adobe Photoshop, and video editing tools.
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills in both Hindi and English.
  • Familiarity with Meta Business Suite and social media analytics tools.
  • Photography and videography capabilities will be considered an advantage.
  • Prior exposure to government, NGO, or public-sector projects is preferred.
