Role overview

HighKey Agency creates social media and brand positioning for medical aesthetics, plastic surgery, and wellness practices. The goal is to help doctors and clinic owners become the most trusted names in their local market before a patient ever books.

This opening is for a Social Media Manager who will take full ownership of client accounts from strategy through execution. You will guide the content direction, lead client communication, and be accountable for growth and retention outcomes.

Core account ownership

You will oversee 8 to 10 client accounts and act as the primary contact for each one. The role includes running strategy conversations, shaping content plans, and making sure deliverables support client success.

• Handle client communication, including calls and relationship management.
• Create content strategies for TikTok, Instagram, YouTube Shorts, and Facebook.
• Develop hooks, scripts, and shot lists, then direct client filming sessions.
• Coordinate footage delivery to editors with clear direction and follow content through to publication.
• Log tasks and deadlines in Basecamp and keep everything on schedule.
• Review performance data weekly and make adjustments based on what the numbers show.
• Train and manage a Social Media Assistant.
• Spot retention issues early and escalate concerns before they turn into client problems.

Content standards

The expected style is educational and authority-led, with strong viral hooks, before-and-after content, case studies, and myth-busting angles. This is not a meme-heavy or low-authority content role.

Tools and workflow

You will work in Basecamp, Notion, Hootsuite, Frame.io, and Hubstaff for time tracking. ChatGPT and Claude are also used for scripting and idea generation.

Compensation and growth

Pay is hourly, with a range of $22.50 to $27.50 per hour, plus performance-based upside tied to the accounts you grow. Benefits include paid time off that increases as you progress, a fixed monthly health and wellness stipend, and quarterly performance bonuses once you reach Mid-Level and above.

The internal progression path is Starter Level 1, Starter Level 2, Mid-Level, and Senior. Advancement is tied to client count, posting volume, ability to train an assistant into a manager, overall quality, consistency, ownership, and how well you scale through your assistant rather than tenure alone.

First 90 days

• Days 1 to 30: learn the systems, finish onboarding, deliver early samples, and show responsiveness and coachability.
• Days 31 to 60: manage accounts with less supervision, maintain steady output, and improve based on feedback.
• Days 61 to 90: demonstrate strong role fit, own your KPIs, grow the accounts, and lead your assistant.
