Job Summary

This position entails executing precise winding of low and high voltage coils specifically for oil-cooled and dry-type transformers according to detailed design criteria, ensuring compliance with quality and testing regulations.

Primary Duties

• Conduct coil winding operations for distribution and power transformers with capacities up to 5 MVA.
• Use winding machinery along with tensioners and insulation apparatus efficiently.
• Interpret and apply engineering blueprints and design parameters in operations.
• Uphold quality benchmarks consistent with IS/IEC standards.
• Manage tap leads and interlayer insulation as well as support core assembly processes.
• Measure and report materials used while maintaining orderliness on the production floor.

Qualifications

• Possess ITI certification or Diploma in Electrical Engineering or a related discipline.
• Have understanding of copper and aluminum winding techniques and insulating materials.
• Capable of reading and comprehending electrical schematics and winding specifications.
