Role Summary

The Social Media Manager will oversee TYMsquare Watches’ presence across its digital channels from the Accra office. The position calls for someone who can plan and run social campaigns, produce and schedule content, and improve post performance to expand reach and engagement. You will also watch for platform trends, interact with followers through comments and messages, and work closely with sales and customer service teams to support promotions and brand activity. The role includes reviewing metrics, creating reports, and adjusting content direction to stay aligned with brand identity and business objectives.

Core Duties

  • Manage and maintain the company’s social media accounts on the relevant platforms.
  • Design, launch, and optimize social media campaigns that strengthen brand visibility and audience interaction.
  • Create, organize, and schedule content that is engaging and consistent with the brand voice.
  • Track social media trends and adapt content ideas to improve performance.
  • Respond to comments and direct messages in a timely and professional manner.
  • Coordinate with the sales and customer service teams to support promotions and brand-led initiatives.
  • Monitor campaign and account performance, then prepare reports based on key metrics.
  • Continuously refine the social media strategy to support business goals and brand values.

Qualifications

Candidates should bring solid experience in social media marketing and optimization, particularly in handling brand accounts. Strong written communication is needed to produce clear, engaging, and on-brand messaging. The ideal applicant should know how to build content strategies for different platforms and audiences, and be comfortable using basic analytics tools to review performance. Familiarity with the watch, fashion, or retail sector would be beneficial. Since the role is on-site in Accra, the candidate must be able to work from the office, collaborate across teams, and manage several tasks efficiently. A diploma or degree in Marketing, Communications, Media, or a related discipline is preferred.
