Social Media Manager

Overview

This role involves more than just overseeing social media channels; you will be accountable for driving audience growth through innovative content strategies. Your responsibilities will extend across content creation, collaboration with creatives, campaign management, and performance analysis to enhance customer acquisition efforts.

Key Responsibilities

• Manage and maintain the company's Instagram and X social media accounts.
• Create and disseminate compelling content on various social platforms.
• Appear on camera as a representative face for certain content pieces.
• Collaborate effectively with creators, influencers, and community members.
• Plan, implement, and oversee creator-oriented campaigns from inception to conclusion.
• Develop clear and strategic briefs for video production, graphic design, and marketing campaigns.
• Evaluate the effectiveness of campaigns by analyzing performance data and presenting insights.
• Coordinate closely with the paid advertising team to craft effective creative content approaches.
• Rapidly adapt internet trends, memes, and digital culture into marketing concepts.
• Leverage AI tools extensively for accelerating the processes of content creation, research, writing, and brainstorming.
• Conduct weekly small-scale experiments focused on growth and share results and insights with the wider team.

Required Qualifications and Attributes

• Exceptional command of written English.
• Resident in Asia, with a preference for candidates based in Hong Kong.
• Highly engaged with internet culture and social media trends.
• Proficient in applying AI technologies such as ChatGPT, Claude, Midjourney, and Cursor in daily work.
• Hands-on experience creating content rather than solely managing it.
• Deep understanding of Instagram, X platform features, and short-form video content.
• Curious mindset with strong analytical skills and a performance improvement focus.
• Self-driven with the capability to own projects from conceptual ideas through to execution.
• Interest in collectibles, trading cards, gaming, anime, or Web3 sectors is highly desirable.
