Job description

Role Overview

ROKiT is hiring a seasoned Social Media Manager to own and deliver social strategy across several consumer-facing brands, including ROKiT Oxygen and other expanding products and initiatives in the portfolio. This is a permanent, on-site role based in Los Angeles, California, with work hours from Monday to Friday, 9:00 AM to 5:00 PM. The office is located at 11878 La Grange Avenue, Los Angeles, CA 90025.

The right candidate will bring hands-on experience with both organic social media and paid digital advertising, along with a track record of building audience growth, boosting engagement, strengthening brand visibility, managing influencer partnerships, and supporting sales outcomes.

Responsibilities

  • Oversee daily activity across social channels such as Facebook, Instagram, TikTok, YouTube, X, and other relevant platforms.
  • Build social media plans that support business and brand objectives.
  • Prepare content calendars and manage the timing of posts and campaigns.
  • Publish content and keep the publishing pipeline running smoothly.
  • Track comments, messages, and audience engagement across channels.
  • Increase follower growth and interaction across all managed platforms.
  • Plan, coordinate, and support content shoots.
  • Produce and edit short-form video assets for social platforms.
  • Create graphics and other creative materials for campaigns.
  • Collaborate with internal stakeholders, influencers, creators, and agencies to develop high-quality content.
  • Maintain consistent brand voice, messaging, and visual presentation.
  • Run Meta advertising campaigns for Facebook and Instagram.
  • Manage TikTok ad campaigns and optimize their performance.
  • Develop audience targeting approaches to improve campaign reach and effectiveness.
  • Review campaign results and make data-driven adjustments to improve performance.
  • Analyze metrics such as ROAS, CPC, CPM, CTR, conversions, and customer acquisition cost.
  • Increase investment in campaigns that perform well and refine weaker campaigns.
  • Source, identify, and engage influencers and creators.
  • Coordinate influencer marketing campaigns and product seeding efforts.
  • Manage deliverables, schedules, and campaign timelines.
  • Measure results and return on investment for creator partnerships.
  • Develop long-term relationships with creators and influencers.
  • Monitor performance across social and paid media channels.
  • Study growth patterns, key metrics, and performance trends.
  • Prepare recurring reports on campaign and channel results.
  • Perform competitor research and identify improvement opportunities.

Requirements

  • A minimum of 3 years of experience in social media marketing is required.
  • Practical experience handling Meta advertising campaigns is required.
  • Practical experience managing TikTok advertising campaigns is required.
  • Experience working with influencers and content creators is required.
  • Strong grasp of social media analytics and performance indicators is required.
  • Ability to create engaging short-form video content is required.
  • Excellent communication and organizational abilities are required.
  • Preferred background includes Shopify experience.
  • Preferred background includes Amazon advertising experience.
  • Prior work with consumer brands, wellness, fitness, beverage, supplement, or lifestyle products is preferred.
  • Graphic design skills are preferred.
  • Video editing skills are preferred.
  • Familiarity with AI-based content creation tools is preferred.

Compensation and Growth

The role offers an annual salary of $70,000. It is a full-time, in-person position with room for advancement within the organization. You will also have the chance to work closely with leadership and contribute to the expansion of multiple consumer brands.
