Social Media Manager and Content Writer

Role Overview

This full-time position, located on-site in Addis Ababa, Ethiopia, focuses on managing social media channels and delivering engaging content. The role requires developing, optimizing, and managing posts, creating compelling written materials, planning and executing comprehensive content strategies, and actively engaging with the target audience. The candidate will also track performance indicators, remain informed about current trends, and collaborate closely with the creative team to boost brand presence through social media and content initiatives.

Qualifications

• Expertise in Social Media Marketing and Social Media Optimization (SMO)
• Excellent communication and writing capabilities producing clear and persuasive content
• Proven experience in designing and executing successful content strategies
• Skillful in interpreting social media analytics and adapting tactics based on data insights
• Innovative mindset with meticulous attention to detail
• Familiarity with social media management platforms and content creation tools
• Experience managing social media accounts for brands is advantageous
