Overview

Degy Entertainment is seeking a proactive and visionary Social Media Manager to join our marketing team. Reporting to the Marketing Director, this mid-level role is pivotal in shaping Degy's digital footprint. The ideal candidate will be knowledgeable about current trends, passionate about live entertainment, and capable of strategizing, executing, and optimizing social media presence to elevate audience engagement and highlight our artists and events.

Key Responsibilities

  • Develop and maintain a comprehensive social media strategy that aligns with Degy's brand and objectives.
  • Define performance metrics and report on social media impact relating to engagement and sales.
  • Leverage analytics to continually enhance the quality and effectiveness of communication channels.
  • Stay informed about industry updates, social platform features, and entertainment trends.
  • Oversee all social media accounts for Degy and related entities, including content creation, calendar management, and consistent brand messaging.
  • Collaborate cross-functionally with marketing and creative teams and external content producers to develop engaging visuals and campaigns.
  • Engage actively with the online community through comments, messages, and relationship management with influencers and artists.
  • Manage paid social media campaigns and budgets across platforms, anticipating algorithm and cultural shifts.
  • Support and educate internal teams on social media best practices and integrate social strategies into wider marketing initiatives.
  • Occasionally supervise interns or support staff and respond to urgent needs during events or live activations.

Qualifications

  • Minimum of three years managing successful social media accounts.
  • Strong storytelling, writing, and campaign management skills across platforms such as Instagram, TikTok, Facebook, LinkedIn, Twitter, and YouTube.
  • Proficiency with Canva and CapCut; experience with Adobe Creative Suite is advantageous.
  • Skilled in social media analytics and management tools including Google Analytics, Meta Business Suite, LinkedIn Campaign Manager, TikTok Business Manager, and preferably Agorapulse.
  • Experience managing paid social advertising is beneficial.
  • Familiarity with Office 365 and SharePoint required; knowledge of ClickUp is a plus.
  • Ability to manage multiple projects with shifting priorities in a fast-paced, remote work environment.
  • Must be a U.S. citizen residing within the United States.
  • Availability for occasional travel and flexible work hours to cover events and live entertainment activities.

Compensation & Benefits

  • Starting salary of $57,500 annually with potential bonuses and merit-based raises.
