Role Summary
The Social Media Manager position is a full-time onsite role based in Ludhiana. The individual will be responsible for designing, producing, and distributing content on social media channels to improve engagement and elevate brand presence. Daily responsibilities involve maintaining social media schedules, creating written content such as posts and captions, coordinating with designers for visuals, and handling audience interactions including comments and messages.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage social media content calendars and ensure timely publication.
- Create compelling posts and captions aligned with brand messaging.
- Collaborate with design teams to develop appropriate visual content.
- Monitor and respond to audience comments and direct messages promptly.
- Analyze social media performance metrics and prepare insightful reports.
- Adapt strategies based on current trends and performance data.
- Coordinate with marketing and sales departments to support campaigns and promotions.
- Stay informed about social media platform updates and best practices.
Candidate Qualifications
- Proficiency in social media strategy development, content planning, and campaign execution.
- Strong copywriting skills incorporating visual storytelling and basic editing.
- Experience with social media analytics, reporting tools, and management platforms.
- Competence in community management, audience engagement, and customer interaction.
- Prior professional experience in social media or digital marketing fields with effective communication abilities.
- Ability to work collaboratively on-site in Ludhiana.
- A bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Communications, Business, or related disciplines is desirable but not mandatory; submission of a portfolio demonstrating previous social media work is advantageous.
