This role is fully remote and may be based anywhere in the United States.
Role Overview
The Social Media Manager will lead day-to-day execution of ACS social channel strategy. The position focuses on building streamlined processes, setting clear operating guidelines, and tracking performance to improve impact. As the go-to expert for social media within the organization, this person will help connect people, teams, and tools to strengthen collaboration and results.
Key Responsibilities
- Implement and run social media channel plans that increase engagement, support audience growth, and stay aligned with organizational priorities.
- Create and maintain workflows, operating standards, and guidelines that keep social execution consistent, efficient, and scalable across platforms.
- Track, review, and present social media performance data, turning metrics into practical insights for decision-making.
- Improve the effectiveness of social content and campaigns by using data-backed observations to raise performance and audience reach.
- Act as the internal expert and main contact for the organization’s social media management platform, currently Sprout Social, and support its adoption and effective use.
- Work closely with internal partners and the social team to coordinate integrated campaign and initiative execution.
Experience and Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree is required.
- 3 to 5 years of professional social media experience is required.
Skills and Abilities
- Strong understanding of social media channels, audience engagement, and channel management.
- Proven ability to execute social media strategy effectively.
- Comfort with performance analysis and turning data into recommendations.
- Experience building efficient workflows and usage guidelines.
- Strong relationship-building and cross-functional collaboration skills.
Travel Requirements
Occasional travel by car or air may be needed when required.
Compensation and Benefits
The starting pay range for this position is $60,000 to $67,000. Final compensation will depend on relevant experience, skills, specialty, education, and location, subject to non-discriminatory factors.
