Role Overview

The Social Media Executive will be integrated within the Creative & Editorial team, reporting directly to the Head of Creative & Editorial. This role focuses on creating dynamic, social-first content that embodies the unique character of the brand while engaging various platforms. The position demands a hands-on approach from ideation through to content production and publication.

Key Responsibilities

  • Generate innovative social media ideas that tell the brand’s story and resonate with cultural trends and community conversations across platforms like TikTok and Instagram.
  • Produce engaging content independently, including shooting, editing, and delivering polished pieces optimized for social media channels.
  • Monitor cultural trends and audience behaviors to identify timely creative opportunities.
  • Develop repeatable and scalable content formats that foster audience interaction and return visits.
  • Collaborate closely with internal teams, influencers, and external partners to produce high-quality content and utilize performance metrics to refine future creative efforts.

Required Skills and Attributes

  • Demonstrated experience in crafting compelling social media content, either within agencies, companies, or as independent creators, with a solid understanding of platform-specific performance drivers.
  • Strong creative vision paired with technical expertise in shooting and editing content from concept to final product.
  • Advanced storytelling ability, including pacing, visual design, and audience engagement, supported by a portfolio showcasing creative and content production skills.
  • Deep enthusiasm for culture, trends, and communities in sectors like fashion, music, art, sports, and creativity with an aptitude for identifying emerging trends early.
  • Collaborative spirit with adaptability to manage agile content creation alongside long-term strategic projects within cross-functional teams.
