re:act is a social-first marketing agency based in central London, created by two global FMCG marketers with experience spanning Health & Beauty, Gaming, Food & Drink, and Technology. Since launching in 2019, the business has expanded from a two-person team to more than 40 people.

The agency partners with well-known brands across multiple sectors and focuses on creating content that matters to real consumers. Its approach is built around the idea that modern brands are shaped by what people say about them, and the team develops distinctive moments that help brands lead conversations in creative, engaging ways.

The team produces content across both digital and offline channels, with a strong emphasis on emotion, relevance and conversation-led thinking.

This position is suited to someone with solid social media experience, strong ideas, energy and commercial drive, who enjoys making high-impact social-first content that stands out in culture and delivers results for clients.

As a Social Media Executive, you will help shape social-first thinking for exciting brands, working on content that feels current, culturally relevant and effective. The role is built for someone who understands how brands should show up in culture, can recognise emerging trends early, and can turn social insights into creative work that performs.

You will collaborate closely with the Social Team and other internal functions to deliver social strategies, creator partnerships and content that supports measurable client outcomes.

What you will do

  • Partner with Social Media Managers and the Social Media Lead to build and guide social-first strategies that are native to each platform, relevant to culture and creatively strong.
  • Spot opportunities for brands to join cultural conversations in a genuine way, including trending moments and creator-led collaborations.
  • Concept and develop original content ideas for TikTok, Instagram and other emerging social platforms.
  • Bring ideas to life through scripting, self-shooting, quick video editing and collaboration with the wider team.
  • Promote a social-first way of thinking across the agency by sharing trends, insights and best practices.
  • Stay immersed in online culture, creators and relevant category trends, then translate that awareness into content that lands.
  • Serve as a day-to-day contact for clients on social strategy and delivery.
  • Support the ongoing management of social channels for leading brands.
  • Build trusted client relationships and present ideas, strategies and results with confidence.
  • Help plan and execute monthly content calendars and campaign activity.
  • Coordinate creator, influencer and user-generated content partnerships when needed.
  • Take ownership of project timelines and ensure all social deliverables are prioritised and completed on time.
  • Manage several campaigns and content streams at once while maintaining high quality.
  • Work with internal teams to coordinate production, approvals and publishing.
  • Upload, schedule and optimise content using agency systems and native platform tools.
  • Keep social documents, calendars and planning assets accurate and current.
  • Use a data-led approach to improve social performance, creative output and strategy.
  • Track key metrics such as engagement, reach, community growth and cultural impact.
  • Prepare regular reports and performance reviews for both internal teams and clients, including competitor and industry analysis.
  • Use analytics tools to assess campaign results and identify opportunities for improvement.

What we are looking for

  • Demonstrated experience managing social media accounts in either an agency or brand setting, including TikTok.
  • Strong hands-on content creation ability, especially filming and editing video content.
  • Clear understanding of social-first creative thinking and how platforms behave, particularly TikTok and Instagram.
  • Background in creator marketing and influencer collaborations.
  • Proven ability to grow social channels and deliver meaningful engagement and audience growth.
  • Comfort working with multiple stakeholders and presenting work directly to clients.
  • A team-oriented attitude with the ability to bring energy and clarity to collaborative work.
  • Excellent writing, communication and storytelling skills.
  • Strong organisation and prioritisation skills, with the ability to manage multiple deadlines and maintain great attention to detail.
  • Genuine curiosity about culture, trends, creators and how brands can participate authentically in online conversations.
  • Practical experience managing brand channels across TikTok, Instagram and Meta platforms.
  • Knowledge of social analytics and reporting tools such as Brandwatch, Emplifi or similar platforms.
  • Experience creating and delivering social-first content strategies and campaigns.
  • Ability to thrive in a fast-moving agency environment where priorities can change quickly.
