About the Role
Electronic Arts builds interactive entertainment that brings together players and fans worldwide. The company’s marketing organization focuses on creating culture, community, and compelling content across major franchises and experiences. In this role, you will help drive the social presence of Apex Legends Esports, strengthen fan engagement, and support the growth of its global audience. You will report to the Senior Brand Marketing Manager and collaborate with teams across the business to deliver memorable moments.
Responsibilities
- Own live social coverage for Apex Legends tournament and broadcast moments, publishing timely, engaging, and brand-consistent content across X, Instagram, TikTok, YouTube, and Twitch.
- Work closely with marketing, competitive operations, broadcast, and partnership teams to define deliverables and keep online and offline ALGS event timelines on track.
- Refine and uphold the brand’s social tone, adjusting the voice appropriately for different audiences and channels while protecting consistency.
- Review social performance data, prepare regular reporting, and share practical recommendations to improve content results and audience growth.
Requirements
- At least 3 years of experience handling social media for a brand, team, or league, ideally in gaming.
- Hands-on experience covering live events, along with a strong understanding of esports culture and gaming communities.
- Confident use of major social platforms such as X, Instagram, TikTok, YouTube, and Twitch.
- Ability to use analytics and audience insights to improve growth and overall social performance.
Compensation and Benefits
The expected pay range for British Columbia, depending on location such as Vancouver or Victoria, is CAD 77,700 to CAD 107,900 per year. Final compensation will depend on business needs and candidate factors including education, qualifications, certifications, experience, skills, and location.
In Canada, the benefits package includes 3 weeks of vacation per year to start, 10 days of sick time annually, extended health, dental and vision coverage, and basic life insurance.
