Role Overview
We are looking for a dynamic Social Media and Engagement Lead to represent Breeden's Orchard by creating captivating content and fostering community connections on social media platforms. This role involves being physically present on-site at our orchard in Mount Juliet, TN, where you will engage with guests and generate enthusiastic online stories about farm life.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop and produce appealing visual content such as photos, Reels, TikToks, and Stories that highlight orchard events, seasonal offerings, U-pick updates, and behind-the-scenes moments.
- Collaborate closely with the General Manager and Head of Marketing to maintain an active and engaging social media presence on Instagram, TikTok, and Facebook that attracts and retains visitors.
- Provide on-site hospitality by interacting with families and guests, capturing genuine joyful interactions, and promoting a welcoming atmosphere.
- Promote events by working alongside farm leadership to create excitement around seasonal festivals, weekend activities, and the retail store's products.
Candidate Profile
- Expertise in key social media platforms and tools including Instagram, TikTok, Facebook, and content editing apps like CapCut or Canva.
- Enthusiastic, approachable personality with a genuine passion for hospitality and engaging with children and families.
- Exceptional ability in visual storytelling, with an eye for aesthetics, lighting, and crafting compelling narratives highlighting the beauty of orchard life.
- Self-motivated and able to independently explore the orchard to discover and create captivating content.
- Strong appreciation for Ohio's agriculture, community traditions, and the agritourism sector.
Work Conditions
- This position requires considerable time outdoors, navigating orchard grounds in varying weather conditions during our peak season.
- Availability to work on weekends from August through early November is essential.
Compensation
We offer a competitive hourly wage aligned with the candidate's experience.
