Job description
Role overview
Carv is looking for a seasonal Social Media & Creator Assistant for the winter 26/27 period. This is a fixed-term contract running from 26 September 2026 through March 2027. The position is based either in London or Park City and is best suited to someone who loves skiing, understands social content, and wants to build hands-on experience in ski media.
About Carv
Carv is the first digital ski coach of its kind. Its boot-mounted motion sensor delivers live audio coaching, supported by data gathered from hundreds of millions of turns. The company’s content reaches millions of skiers every year, and social media is a major way people discover the brand.
What the role involves
You will work closely with the Junior Creative Producer and Social & Creator Manager to help run Carv’s social channels at pace. The role combines content publishing, creator support, community engagement, and on-the-ground capture during trips and events. It is designed for someone who wants to learn fast, contribute broadly, and grow with the responsibility they take on.
Key responsibilities
- Plan, schedule, and publish content across Instagram, TikTok, YouTube Shorts, and Facebook.
- Draft social copy for posts and campaign content.
- Support video editors with briefs and step in with editing where required.
- Capture behind-the-scenes footage and stills during trips, events, and on-snow activity.
- Keep conversations going by monitoring and responding to comments across platforms.
- Sort, tag, and maintain social assets in internal systems.
- Assist with regular reporting on social performance and influencer activity.
- Research and shortlist creators who fit the Carv brand.
- Develop and maintain positive relationships with creators and talent partners.
- Help coordinate seeding programme communication.
- Support planning and logistics for influencer events.
- Assist with approvals, contracts, and invoice tracking for influencer work.
Who this is for
This is a strong entry point into ski media for someone with instinct, curiosity, and a strong social eye rather than years of experience. The ideal person is comfortable travelling, working on snow, and building relationships across the skiing and creator ecosystem. The more you take on, the broader the role will become.
Location and timing
The contract is intended to start in mid-September 2026 and end in late March 2027. Applications will start being reviewed from 20 July.
Additional notes
The role involves travel to resorts and events, sometimes at short notice. You should be prepared for time spent on snow and for working in fast-moving, event-driven situations.
Application materials
Applicants are asked to provide three items: a CV, a cover letter explaining their skiing background, the best social content they have created, and any experience with talent, ambassadors, or community management, plus a link to their work or social profiles.
Additional perks
Benefits include a Carv device of your own, regular time on snow during the season, access to a network of influencers and athletes in the ski industry, opportunities to attend creator shoots and events around the world, lift passes when working on the mountain, subsidised accommodation in the company flat in Innsbruck, and Carvfest, where the full team flies to Innsbruck each March for spring skiing, après, and awards.
Closing line
One season. Millions of skiers. Your route into ski social.
