Role Overview
We are seeking a creative and well-organized Social Media Coordinator to join our team. In close partnership with the Social Media Manager, you will help implement Lidl's social media strategy by crafting engaging content, supporting campaign execution, analyzing social media data, and keeping up with current trends. This role suits individuals passionate about social media content creation who thrive in dynamic settings and are eager to leverage data for impactful results.
Responsibilities
- Assist in managing Lidl's presence on social media platforms daily.
- Create captivating photo and video content, including filming, editing, and confidently featuring on camera when needed.
- Help plan, schedule, and publish social media content.
- Write compelling copy in Lidl's brand voice to elevate campaigns, promotions, and everyday posts.
- Track social media trends and suggest innovative content ideas.
- Contribute to the development of creative briefs for influencers and brand ambassadors and assist in campaign rollout.
- Generate regular performance reports, interpret data, and highlight insights to inform upcoming campaigns.
- Collaborate effectively with internal teams and external agencies to ensure campaign deadlines.
- Support community management alongside Customer Services as required.
- Assist with administrative tasks such as handling purchase orders, invoice processing, and reporting related to campaigns.
- Aid in content shoots, planning sessions, and various ad hoc projects.
Qualifications and Skills
- Minimum of one year experience in social media, digital marketing, or content creation roles.
- A degree in Marketing, Communications, or a similar area is advantageous.
- Strong enthusiasm for creating social-first content, with confidence in video production and on-camera presentation.
- Excellent copywriting abilities and skill in adapting tone for different social media channels.
- Interest in analyzing social media metrics and translating data into actionable insights.
- Exceptional organizational skills with the ability to handle multiple deadlines in a fast-moving setting.
- Detail-oriented with a proactive approach and positive mindset.
- Effective communication skills and a collaborative spirit.
- Familiarity with Google Workspace and social media scheduling tools is preferred.
Compensation and Benefits
Lidl provides a transparent and competitive pay structure ensuring equality, with a starting salary of €37,500, increasing to €51,000 after three years. Benefits include:
