Role Summary

This full-time position is based in New York, NY and operates in an onsite format. The Social Media Coordinator will help shape the brand’s digital presence by producing and sharing engaging social content, overseeing social accounts, launching campaign activity, partnering with the marketing team on brand direction, and reviewing trends and performance data to improve reach and engagement. The role also includes regular audience interaction across platforms to build visibility, connection, and loyalty.

What You’ll Do

  • Create original social media content and publish it across relevant channels.
  • Manage day-to-day activity on the brand’s social media accounts.
  • Support the planning and execution of social media campaigns.
  • Work closely with the marketing team to strengthen brand strategy.
  • Track industry trends, audience behavior, and platform analytics to guide engagement efforts.
  • Engage with followers and community members across platforms on a regular basis.

Qualifications

  • Hands-on experience in creating content for social platforms and supporting social media marketing efforts.
  • Solid understanding of platform trends, content approaches, and channel best practices.
  • Strong written and verbal communication abilities.
  • Good organization and time management skills, including the ability to juggle several projects at once.
  • Experience using analytics tools to measure social performance.
  • A creative, proactive approach with an interest in storytelling and audience engagement.
  • Comfort using Canva and other design or editing tools such as CapCut or similar software.
  • Strong short-form video editing skills for platforms like Instagram Reels, TikTok, and YouTube Shorts.
  • Ability to create, edit, and optimize photo and video assets for social-first campaigns.
  • Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Communications, or a related discipline.
