Job description
Role overview
SWIISH is seeking a creative Social Media & Content Producer to help shape content for a fast-growing wellness brand with a broad audience across Australia and overseas. This role is centered on creating engaging, native social content that builds awareness, drives interaction, and reflects the brand’s vibrant, confident tone.
The brand was founded by Sally Obermeder and Maha Corbett and is available online, in Priceline stores across Australia, and through Boots in the UK. The business operates across ecommerce and physical retail, with a growing international footprint.
If you enjoy making content that captures attention, encourages sharing, and helps build an active online community, this position offers the chance to contribute directly to a brand with momentum and reach.
What you will be doing
- Develop new content concepts that strengthen reach and engagement across Instagram, TikTok, and YouTube.
- Adapt content so it feels natural for each platform, whether the format is educational, visually driven, or entertaining.
- Produce social assets from the existing photo and video archive, as well as by shooting fresh material for daily feed posts, Reels, Stories, and similar formats.
- Respond to comments and direct messages in a way that builds genuine audience connection.
- Brief and coordinate with influencers, user-generated content creators, and brand collaborators, while identifying fresh partnership opportunities.
- Monitor performance data and use insights to refine content and growth approaches.
- Maintain the social content calendar so it stays aligned with campaigns, product launches, and broader brand priorities.
- Find practical ways to encourage more authentic user-generated content from the community.
- Capture behind-the-scenes moments from events, photoshoots, and office life in real time.
What the role calls for
- At least 2 years of experience producing content that drives engagement, ideally for a brand rather than only for personal accounts.
- A portfolio that demonstrates your work, including at least one piece that significantly outperformed expectations, along with your explanation of why it worked.
- Strong awareness of social trends, emerging formats, and content that is gaining or losing momentum.
- The ability to take a single idea and develop it into multiple content angles.
- Confidence using Canva and working knowledge of CapCut or a similar editing tool.
- Speed and accuracy when working in a busy, fast-changing environment.
- Solid organisational skills to manage a content schedule without letting ideas fall through the cracks.
- A positive, proactive, solutions-oriented attitude.
- Comfort appearing on camera is a bonus, alongside strength behind the camera.
What makes this opportunity attractive
- Your ideas are likely to be heard and acted on quickly because the company is in growth mode.
- The team works with minimal red tape and a fast decision-making style.
- Achievements are recognised and celebrated.
- There may be opportunities for domestic and international travel.
- The brand has a large and expanding global presence across retail and ecommerce.
- Staff receive a generous product allowance.
- There is a fully stocked wellness bar at the workplace.
- Team events are designed to be enjoyable and engaging.
- Industry workshops and events are provided to support ongoing development.
- You may also take part in brand events and activations, not just work behind the scenes on them.
Application requirements
To be considered, applicants must submit a cover letter, resume, and links to the social channels they have managed along with examples of content they have created. Applications without these links will not be reviewed.
Applicants should also include at least one example of content that exceeded expectations and a brief note on why it performed well.
SWIISH is looking for candidates who can explain who they are, what motivates them creatively, and why the position feels like a strong fit.
Eligibility
Applicants must hold Australian citizenship, a valid visa, or permanent residency in Australia.
Additional information
Interested candidates are encouraged to review the brand’s website and social channels before applying to better understand its style and audience.
