Role overview
Kavya Textiles is seeking a Social Media Content Manager for its Harihara store in Karnataka. The person in this role will be responsible for shaping and running the brand’s social presence, creating content that highlights sarees, dress materials, and ethnic wear, and converting online interest into store visits and WhatsApp inquiries.
Strategy and content planning
- Develop a monthly posting plan built around festivals, seasonal moments, fresh arrivals, and local events.
- Monitor trends, content styles, and hashtags to keep posts current and engaging.
- Design a balanced content mix that includes product showcases, reels, styling advice, testimonials, and festive promotions.
- Work with the store team to photograph new stock and organize shoots.
Content creation and coordination
- Create attention-grabbing posts, reels, and stories that feature products effectively.
- Write captions that bring out product benefits, offers, and the emotional appeal relevant to textile shoppers.
- Coordinate with editors, designers, and freelance creators to ensure timely content delivery.
- Keep the brand voice, visual style, and messaging consistent across all platforms.
Community management and engagement
- Reply promptly to comments, direct messages, and customer questions during business hours.
- Convert online interest into visits to the store and orders through WhatsApp catalog links.
- Encourage follower interaction and highlight customer photos and other user-generated content.
- Handle questions related to stock availability, pricing, and store timings in a professional manner.
Campaigns and promotions
- Plan and execute promotional campaigns for festivals, new collections, and special offers.
- Coordinate paid advertising on Instagram and Facebook with a focus on local audiences.
- Collaborate with local creators and vloggers to expand organic reach.
Analytics and improvement
- Review growth, reach, and engagement data to understand what performs best.
- Use performance insights to improve content style, timing, and format choices.
- Stay updated on platform features and changes in algorithms.
- Use AI tools and integrate them through platforms such as Claude and ChatGPT.
Candidate profile
The ideal candidate should understand short-form content and the importance of the opening seconds of a reel. Comfort with Instagram, Facebook, and WhatsApp Business is essential. Strong writing skills and the ability to connect with local customers are important, and Kannada language ability will be a strong advantage. The role also calls for someone who can plan, create, and respond consistently without missing deadlines.
