About the role
Primi is an Australian womenswear label focused on refined basics and enduring wardrobe staples designed to last. The business is looking for a creative, confident-on-camera social media content creator to help define and grow the brand’s online presence.
This is a practical, collaborative position working directly with the founder. The initial commitment is 2–3 days per week, with the possibility of expanding as the brand grows.
What you will do
- Lead Instagram content planning and delivery, including reels, stories, and feed posts, with the goal of growing followers, increasing engagement, and strengthening brand awareness. You will also experiment with new creative concepts through test reels and help produce assets for paid campaigns.
- Plan and create TikTok content together with the founder, staying comfortable on camera and producing ideas that feel natural to the platform.
- Repurpose content for Facebook and Pinterest so the brand maintains a consistent presence across additional channels.
- Support content and e-commerce photoshoots by helping shape creative ideas, organise production, coordinate models, and work alongside the founder and creative team.
- Contribute to ad creative by developing and testing content for paid advertising on Instagram and TikTok, then refining ideas based on what performs best.
- Assist with PR outreach and help coordinate opportunities that can place Primi in front of relevant audiences.
What we are looking for
The ideal person will be comfortable appearing on camera, have a sharp visual eye, and understand what performs well on different social platforms. You should be someone who enjoys experimenting with ideas, learning quickly, and improving content through testing and iteration.
You will do well in this role if you are self-motivated, organised, able to work independently, and comfortable juggling several platforms and projects at once. An interest in PR, community building, and brand growth is also important.
No previous experience is required. The team is open to supporting someone who is eager to learn and develop alongside the business.
Location and work setup
Candidates should be based in or near Melbourne, Victoria. Work will involve a mix of locations: some days at the Altona North warehouse for shoots and content creation, and other days working from home or from studios.
