Position Overview
We seek a creative and analytical college student to join as a Social Media Assistant on a part-time basis. This role involves creating compelling content, supporting marketing initiatives, and enhancing brand presence and engagement across various social media platforms.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop, schedule, and publish engaging posts on Facebook, Instagram, Threads, Google Business Profile, TikTok, Pinterest, LinkedIn, and more to boost brand visibility and audience interaction.
- Monitor social media channels for emerging trends, manage customer comments and messages promptly and professionally, and engage with the online community.
- Maintain a strategic content calendar to ensure consistent messaging and support campaign delivery.
- Create platform-optimized copy including captions, hashtags, and calls-to-action tailored to audience preferences and marketing objectives.
- Design attractive digital assets such as graphics, short videos, and infographics aligned with brand guidelines.
- Collaborate with internal teams and external partners to coordinate content production and maintain brand uniformity across all social channels.
- Track and analyze social media metrics like audience growth, engagement, reach, impressions, website traffic, and leads to optimize content strategy.
- Prepare and deliver regular reports outlining campaign outcomes, audience behavior, and actionable recommendations.
- Keep business information and branding consistent and current across all social media accounts and features.
Candidate Qualifications
- Currently enrolled college student pursuing Marketing, Communications, or a related field.
- Must be able to commute between Oak Lawn and Plainfield locations as required.
- Experience with social media management platforms such as Hootsuite, MetaBusiness Suite, and Promoboxx.
- Strong written and verbal communication abilities.
- Basic understanding of digital advertising concepts.
- Innovative and adaptable to evolving social media trends.
- Detail-oriented with strong organizational and problem-solving skills.
- Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record.
- Willingness to undergo background check and drug screening.
