Role Overview
The Social Media and Digital Content Coordinator will be responsible for creating and managing vibrant digital content to elevate the Cigarette Racing brand across various channels such as social media, the company website, and email marketing platforms. This position involves capturing photography and video assets, supporting product launches and events, maintaining consistent brand messaging, tracking engagement metrics, and working closely with internal teams to highlight the brand's innovation and luxury performance.
Key Responsibilities
- Oversee daily activities on all company social media platforms including content scheduling and engagement monitoring.
- Produce, edit, and manage photography and video content featuring boats, manufacturing processes, events, and customer experiences for multiple platforms.
- Support website content updates using Wordpress, assist with email marketing campaigns, and prepare creative materials for digital advertising.
- Ensure uniformity of brand messaging across digital outlets and contribute to marketing collateral for sales and dealer communications.
- Analyze social media and website analytics, producing monthly reports with insights and recommendations.
- Participate in and support events such as boat launches, trade shows, and photoshoots by capturing live content and handling event-related branding tasks.
- Collaborate cross-functionally with sales, engineering, production, and leadership teams to identify and produce relevant marketing content and fulfill internal marketing requests.
Qualifications and Skills
- Associate's or Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Communications, Digital Media, or a related discipline is preferred.
- Between 2 to 4 years of experience in social media management and digital content creation, preferably within luxury, marine, automotive, or lifestyle sectors.
- Proficient with Adobe Creative Cloud applications (Photoshop, Illustrator, Premiere Pro, InDesign).
- Strong photography and videography abilities, including drone operation (FAA certification preferred).
- Experience using social media management tools, website content management systems, email marketing platforms, and analytics software such as Google Analytics.
- Excellent written communication and storytelling skills, strong organization, and attention to detail.
- Capability to effectively handle multiple projects within deadline-driven environments independently and collaboratively.
Additional Details
- This is a full-time onsite role based in Opa-Locka, Florida, working Monday to Friday from 8:30 a.m. to 5 p.m., with potential overtime or weekend work as needed.
- The position requires some travel to events and may involve working in a manufacturing or repair facility that includes exposure to chemicals and fumes; appropriate personal protective equipment (PPE) use is mandatory.
- The work environment is dynamic and fast-paced, often involving product launches and major campaigns requiring extended hours.
