About Brinny's Better Bucklers
Brinny's Better Bucklers is an emerging German startup based in Cologne, currently in the process of incorporation. The company is developing "Stagehand" (stagehand-derps.com), a digital suite of modular tools designed to assist Game Hosts in managing traditional TableTop Role Playing Games.
Role Overview
Working closely with an advertising agency, the Social Media and Community Manager will support the upcoming Kickstarter Campaign launching in October 2026. The role primarily involves fostering and expanding a lively community around our product and maintaining an active presence on selected social media platforms.
Key Responsibilities
- Create and nurture an engaging Discord community to sustain and grow the fanbase generated via marketing initiatives.
- Maintain consistent activity on chosen social media channels.
- Coach internal team members on effective fan interaction and progress updates on media.
- Organize and manage interactive community events to entertain and connect with followers.
- Establish and maintain partnerships with YouTube influencers to showcase the product.
Candidate Requirements
- Proven experience as a Social Media and Community Manager or similar role with portfolio evidence.
- Comprehensive knowledge of online community platforms, social media management tools, and analytics.
- Competent in conflict resolution and managing challenging audience members.
- Conversational fluency in English.
- Desirable but not required: degree in Media and Communications.
- Experience participating in or hosting TableTop Role Playing Games is favorable.
- Exposure to startup work environments is a plus.
Compensation Details
Currently, remuneration consists of Profit Participation Rights. Once the company is officially incorporated and profitable, team members will be entitled to a share of the company's annual profits as a significant part of their compensation package. Specifics will be discussed with shortlisted candidates during interviews.
