Job description
Role overview
This position sits within TikTok’s Global Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) team and focuses on expanding social and climate impact across TikTok’s products and services. The coordinator will help strengthen TikTok’s positioning as a preferred platform for nonprofit organizations while improving product features, nonprofit accessibility, and the overall impact of the company’s social initiatives.
The role works closely with the Brand and Communications team and the Public Policy team, supporting a broad set of workstreams across products, partnerships, people, and planet strategies. The overall mission is to deliver positive social outcomes and environmental sustainability through the platform, its products, and its people.
This opportunity is suited to someone who enjoys cross-functional collaboration, can adapt quickly in a fast-moving environment, and is motivated by creating measurable societal value.
Key responsibilities
- Own the full lifecycle of the CSR advertising credits program so NGOs and impact-focused partners can grow their presence and reach on TikTok.
- Support nonprofit organizations and their agencies with guidance on TikTok’s ad products, creative execution, and campaign optimization to improve real-world outcomes.
- Coordinate global impact campaigns by working with internal teams to review performance data, surface insights, and improve ad offerings.
- Oversee the TikTok Donation Sticker feature, including technical setup for local and emergency-response efforts and the expansion of the in-app fundraising experience.
- Represent nonprofit priorities by collaborating with Finance, Legal, Product, and Commercial teams to simplify the platform experience and improve product capabilities.
- Design and improve repeatable operational processes, including automated workflows and impact-tracking dashboards, for smooth coordination across global stakeholders.
Qualifications
The role requires a bachelor’s degree in Social Sciences, Communications, Business, Operations, or a related discipline. Applicants should bring hands-on experience managing operational systems, complex workflows, and cross-functional coordination.
Strong communication skills are essential, especially for working between internal teams such as Public Policy and external NGO partners. Candidates should also show a clear commitment to CSR and a desire to create measurable social impact.
Preferred backgrounds include social impact work in nonprofit or corporate settings, experience in large matrixed organizations, and the ability to collaborate across global time zones. Comfort with Excel and openness to new technologies, including AI tools, are valuable. The ideal candidate is proactive, resourceful, and able to solve problems independently.
