About the Role

At Apartments.com.au, part of TDV Platforms, we believe home-finding stories are deeply meaningful yet currently overshadowed by superficial social media content. We operate two major property platforms—iBuildNew for new homes and house-and-land, and Apartments.com.au for new apartment developments—and are establishing a strong social content presence that tells these stories authentically. We are looking for a Social Creative Lead to spearhead our short-form video content across all social channels.

Responsibilities

  • Develop social editorial concepts tailored to platform audiences to engage and grow viewership.
  • Manage the full production workflow, including briefing, scheduling shoots, setting editing standards, and coordinating publishing frequency across TikTok, Instagram, YouTube, Facebook, and LinkedIn.
  • Direct on-camera talent and creators while adapting content to native platform formats.
  • Create repeatable content formats and franchises, scaling successful ones extensively.
  • Leverage AI editing and production tools to increase production speed and volume without compromising quality.
  • Monitor performance metrics diligently and provide transparent reporting on content effectiveness.

Candidate Profile

  • Proven track record growing a substantial, engaged audience for a brand, publisher, or personally, with clear insights into growth strategies employed.
  • Experience leading content operations including managing creative teams, adhering to fast-paced daily or near-daily publishing without sacrificing quality.
  • Proficiency with AI tools to enhance output efficiency and maintain high editorial standards.
  • Strong understanding that audience growth is a means to commercial outcomes, with the ability to correlate content efforts to business results.
  • Instinctive grasp of what makes engaging short-form video and solid editing literacy to uphold quality and watchability.

Team and Reporting

You will initially report directly to the CEO, with plans to report to an incoming Chief Marketing Officer. Collaboration includes working with the Head of Marketing and a team comprising content creators, offshore video editors, plus the CEO and Editor in Chief who often appear on camera. You’ll have access to necessary resources and budget to grow the team's capabilities as the content operation proves successful.
