Role Overview
The Social Coordinator role is an entry-level position within Wavemaker's INFLUENCE® team, focused on social, content, and influencer marketing to help brands engage authentically with key audiences. Reporting to Social Managers and Directors, this role supports daily social media channel operations for multiple clients, including content publishing, community engagement, and performance reporting. The position demands keen attention to detail, enthusiasm for social media culture, and a proactive, team-oriented attitude.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage scheduling and publishing of content across platforms such as Instagram, Facebook, TikTok, and LinkedIn.
- Engage in community management and perform quality assurance checks before content goes live.
- Prepare performance reports and collaborate with creative, media, and strategy teams to ensure cohesive and on-brand channel execution.
Candidate Requirements
- Up to one year of experience in social media, marketing, communications, or related fields, including internships or placements.
- Practical knowledge of major social media platforms and understanding of their unique tone, format, and audience behavior.
- Strong writing skills with meticulous attention to copy, assets, and quality assurance.
- Outstanding organizational and time management capabilities to handle multiple client accounts and deadlines efficiently.
- A proactive, curious mindset with a genuine interest in social media trends and contributing within a dynamic team.
- Passion for internet culture and social-first content ideas.
- Collaborative approach to working alongside creative, strategy, and media teams.
Preferred Skills
- Experience using social media publishing/listening platforms like Sprout Social, Hootsuite, or Meta Business Suite.
- Basic understanding of social media analytics with ability to interpret data insights.
- Familiarity with content creation tools such as Adobe Creative Suite or CapCut.
