Social Content Strategist - Reddit & AEO Focus

Role Overview

We are hiring a Social Content Strategist specialized in Reddit to support an important Answer Engine Optimization (AEO) project. This full-time, remote freelance role spans at least six months, requiring about 40 hours weekly with flexible pay ranging from $50 to $60 per hour. The position starts ideally in mid-July.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead the development and execution of a Reddit-specific content strategy aligned with broader AEO objectives.
• Design and maintain a content calendar to assure regular delivery of high-quality posts.
• Create and expand a post and prompt library for Reddit to facilitate ongoing content production.
• Establish content frameworks tailored to address high-intent queries and user search behaviors.
• Track Reddit community activity to uphold content quality and mitigate spam or misuse.
• Continuously optimize content based on performance metrics, engagement data, and trending visibility.
• Spot gaps in content and propose new content ideas based on user insights and competitive analysis.
• Collaborate with internal teams and external agencies to implement and enhance strategies.
• Keep abreast of Reddit community characteristics including tone, behaviors, and platform fluctuations.

Candidate Qualifications

• Between three to five years of relevant experience in social content strategy, content marketing, SEO, or AEO fields.
• Solid expertise in organic content planning, especially strategies that increase engagement and content discoverability.
• Proven experience managing content schedules and developing scalable content ecosystems.
• Understanding of AEO processes and how content appears on AI-powered search tools such as ChatGPT or Google AI features.
• Excellent communication skills and the ability to work across teams effectively.
• Although direct professional experience with Reddit is optional, a strong personal familiarity and understanding of the platform's dynamics are important.
• Interest in AI trends and a willingness to deep dive into AEO applications are highly valued.
