About the Role
Medforce Healthcare Recruitment, via Fortiva—the social care division of the Lincoln Group—is seeking Social Care Workers in Ennis, County Clare. The company is expanding teams across Ireland to establish local residential and care services close to where people live, providing better community integration as services evolve.
Job Summary
The Social Care Worker will assist individuals with varying needs to live autonomously and maximize their potential by delivering compassionate, person-centered care. The position requires collaboration within a multidisciplinary team to implement personalized care plans and therapeutic objectives that emphasize respect, inclusion, and wellbeing.
Key Responsibilities
- Deliver daily personal and social care according to individual care plans.
- Encourage independence, dignity, and social inclusion.
- Support emotional and behavioral health through positive engagement and active listening.
- Help individuals participate in education, work, training, and community events.
- Assist with daily living tasks such as cooking, budgeting, and self-care.
- Transport service users to appointments, programs, and social activities.
- Collaborate with families, healthcare providers, and social services.
- Maintain confidentiality and uphold professional care standards.
Qualifications & Experience
- Possess a Level 7 or Level 8 qualification in Social Care or a related field.
- Experience in residential, disability, or community care services is desirable.
- Registered with CORU or actively applying for registration.
- Excellent interpersonal and communication abilities.
- Capability to remain calm and manage challenging situations efficiently.
- A caring, team-oriented mindset toward client care.
- Must have a full Irish driving license and access to a vehicle for transporting clients.
Employment Details
- Permanent contract with both full-time and part-time positions available.
- Work hours ranging from 20 to 48 hours per week.
- Competitive pay between €18.50 and €24.28 per hour.
