Role overview
This position places you at the center of the launch for Asana Client Management (ACM), a product designed to reduce friction in client delivery by bringing briefs, approvals, and file sharing into one branded client portal built on the Asana Work Graph. You will help shape the go-to-market strategy from the outset, working closely with sales leadership and the product team to introduce ACM to current Asana customers as well as new professional services prospects. It is an opportunity to create a new sales motion from scratch at a company serving more than 170,000 customers.
Work location and schedule
The role is based in Dublin, County Dublin, Ireland, and follows an office-centric hybrid arrangement. Regular in-office days are Monday, Tuesday, and Thursday. Most team members may work from home on Wednesdays. Friday work-from-home access depends on your responsibilities and the teams you support.
What you will do
- Manage the entire sales process for agency and professional services buyers, covering everything from first outreach to final close.
- Create pipeline through outbound activity against a named account list in core verticals such as Advertising & Marketing, Media, Digital Services, Design & Creative, and PR.
- Respond quickly to inbound product-qualified leads from self-serve trial users, using the customer’s in-product actions to inform your outreach.
- Conduct coordinated outbound engagement with COOs, Heads of Delivery, and Heads of Client Services using highly targeted, signal-based messaging.
- Work opportunities both with existing Asana customers expanding into ACM and with new accounts where you are displacing competitors in fast-moving sales cycles.
- Collaborate with the solutions engineer assigned to your pod for demos, platform setup, and complex stakeholder conversations.
- Share insights from discovery calls with the product and go-to-market teams to refine how ACM is positioned and sold at scale.
- Capture effective practices and help build the sales playbook that the wider SMB team will use.
Candidate profile
You should bring a strong interest in AI tools and newer technologies, along with a willingness to learn how they can improve productivity, collaboration, and decision-making. The role calls for at least 2 years of quota-carrying SaaS sales experience, with steady results in the €5K–€25K ACV range. You should understand AI LLMs and GPTs well enough to discuss how they apply in business settings, and you should be comfortable selling to COOs, operations leaders, or delivery leaders in professional services organizations where margin and capacity are major concerns. Strong discovery skills are important, especially the ability to understand how a client request moves into production. You should also be able to explain how AI working through a client-portal trigger layer differs from tools initiated by operators. Experience running multi-threaded deals across two or three stakeholders at the same account is needed, along with working knowledge of Salesforce, Outreach or a similar tool, and Sales Navigator.
Preferred background
Experience from incubation or early-stage go-to-market work is preferred, as is familiarity with the agency technology ecosystem, including PSA tools and project management platforms. A background in competitive displacement would also be an advantage.
Compensation
The on-target earnings for this role are €109,000 to €115,000. This total includes a base salary of €59,950 to €63,250 plus performance-based sales incentive pay under the Sales Incentive Plan. Final compensation may differ depending on market conditions and the qualifications demonstrated during the interview process. Equity and benefits may also be part of the package.
