About the Company

This role is with a Chartered Building Company renowned for delivering high-quality commercial fit-outs, refurbishments, and bespoke interior projects throughout Ireland. The company prides itself on collaboration, transparency, and technical excellence in delivering exceptional projects.

Role Overview

The appointed Site/Project Manager will oversee commercial fit-out projects valued around €12 million, managing all stages from pre-construction to project handover. The role focuses on ensuring projects are delivered within the set timelines, budget, and maintaining top standards of quality and safety.

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead commercial fit-out projects from contract award through to practical completion.
  • Coordinate and manage site teams, subcontractors, consultants, and suppliers efficiently.
  • Develop and oversee project programmes, budgets, and cash flow management.
  • Ensure strict adherence to BCaR (Building Control Amendment Regulations), health and safety legislation, and internal company policies.
  • Chair regular site meetings and maintain clear communication with clients and design teams.
  • Manage procurement timelines and subcontractor appointments.
  • Proactively identify and address project risks to mitigate potential impacts.
  • Maintain high standards of quality control and finishing across projects.
  • Prepare and deliver routine reports covering progress, cost, and schedule updates.

Candidate Requirements

  • Proven experience as a Site or Project Manager specifically within commercial or refurbishment construction environments.
  • In-depth knowledge of BCaR, Irish Building Regulations, and safety and quality standards.
  • Strong leadership skills with the ability to coordinate multiple stakeholders and teams effectively.
  • Excellent communication capabilities, both oral and written.
  • Sharp commercial acumen and understanding of contractual obligations.
  • Ability to manage complex project schedules and multiple concurrent programmes.
  • Preferred qualifications include a trade background or degree-level education.

Compensation and Benefits

  • The salary range offered is approximately €85,000 to €100,000 per annum.
  • Candidates may receive either a company vehicle or allowance in addition to salary.
  • Additional benefits include pension contributions and performance-related bonuses.
  • Alternatively, compensation may be structured on an hourly basis up to €55 per hour, dependent on experience and competencies.
  • Employment package reviews are conducted after six months.
  • Complete autonomy over project management responsibilities.
