Job Summary
The core mission within the HR Business Partner (HRBP) role is to oversee Site Operations HR, ensuring consistent and equitable HR policies, efficient organizational design, and open communication channels that foster excellent employee relations.
Primary Responsibilities
- Implement and monitor Talent Development initiatives including Annual Appraisals, Mid-Year Reviews, Career Aspirations, Talent Reviews, Expert nominations/renewals, Salary Reviews, Succession & Development Plans, Pay Negotiations, and Valeo Roadmaps in line with Group policies.
- Collaborate with Site management to anticipate and support business requirements regarding workforce skills and manpower planning.
- Manage direct labor (DL) workforce planning aligned with site capacity needs.
- Work alongside the Training & Development team to ensure DL and indirect labor (IDL) training aligns with business goals and enhances required skill sets.
- Lead and mentor the HR team responsible for providing HR support at the site level.
- Offer specialist HR guidance to boost managers and supervisors' capabilities in handling HR issues proficiently.
- Assist with recruitment activities as necessary.
- Maintain expertise in employment laws, site policy adherence, and consistent application.
- Ensure compliance with internal and external audits, such as IATF, V5000, and Revenue audits.
- Review and update HR policies and procedures appropriately.
- Proactively manage industrial and employee relations to maintain constructive relationships with unions, Ibec, site management, and employees.
- Monitor key HR metrics (absenteeism, turnover, engagement), report findings, and recommend improvements.
- Ensure the accuracy and integrity of all HR data in relevant systems concerning the site workforce.
- Participate in the Site Wellbeing Committee supporting safety, ergonomics, and employee well-being initiatives.
- Contribute to Valeo Group HR projects as needed.
- Represent the company in third-party hearings, prepare documentation thoroughly, and collaborate with Ibec and legal counsel.
- Support implementation of Employee Engagement Surveys, communicate outcomes, and develop action plans to address areas needing improvement.
Candidate Profile
- Degree or Master’s qualification in Human Resources.
- At least five years of HR experience, with significant industrial and employee relations expertise.
- Proven experience working in a manufacturing environment.
- Proficiency with HR Information Systems and strong skills in Google Suite or Microsoft Office.
- Previous management experience and a background in a fast-paced multinational environment are advantageous.
