Job description
Role overview
This 12-month contract role is based in Tuas and sits within the pharmaceutical manufacturing sector. The position focuses on supporting digital shopfloor solutions and helping improve how systems are delivered to internal users. The compensation can go up to SGD 8,000 per month, depending on relevant experience.
The client is building a modern manufacturing setup built around flexible, multi-product facilities that are modular, adaptable, and designed to scale with new technologies to meet vaccine-related manufacturing needs.
Job purpose
The main objective of this role is to support the rollout and enhancement of digital solutions by applying project coordination and solution expertise for business stakeholders.
Responsibilities
- Manage the lifecycle of shopfloor systems such as MES, historian platforms, and integrated systems.
- Improve support processes for shopfloor applications and related services.
- Provide support for integration between IT and OT systems.
- Handle application governance and ongoing system management.
Requirements
- Strong capability in project coordination, process improvement, and structured problem solving, along with incident and change management experience.
- Hands-on knowledge of shopfloor technologies, including MES, ERP, data historian tools, and IIoT or plant connectivity platforms.
- Understanding of system architecture and how applications fit together across the manufacturing environment.
- Awareness of quality processes, including GxP qualification.
- Experience working in a pharmaceutical manufacturing setting, especially vaccine or biologics environments with GxP compliance.
