What You Will Do

The Voyage experience is built around hands-on learning in hotel operations. During the program, you will:

• Build and strengthen guest and customer relationships.
• Contribute fresh ideas and support innovation across the business.
• Gain exposure to managing projects and working with people.
• Identify process improvements and present new ideas through your Voyage project.
• Work on special assignments that draw on the training and experience you gain during the program.
• Join management discussions and collaborate with Voyage participants from around the world.
• Help solve operational challenges and contribute practical solutions.
• Share feedback that helps shape the curriculum and the experience of future participants.

What the Program Offers

Participants receive access to Marriott’s senior leaders and coaches, along with opportunities to learn from peers across disciplines. The program also includes mini-rotations that provide firsthand exposure to different hotel functions and help build a broader understanding of how hotel operations work.

After completing the program, many graduates are prepared to move directly into supervisory or entry-level management roles within Marriott.

Eligibility and Requirements

To be considered for this intake, applicants must meet the following conditions:

• Have graduated from a university or hotel school within the last 12 months.
• Hold a bachelor’s degree or an equivalent higher qualification; an associate degree is acceptable for Culinary-related paths.
• Show strong critical thinking ability and effective interpersonal communication skills.
• Be able to build relationships and work well in a team-based environment.
• Be self-directed and comfortable taking initiative.
• Have a genuine interest in long-term personal and professional development.
• Be authorized to work in the country of application, such as being a local citizen or permanent resident.
• Students who are still enrolled in a college or university and expect to graduate within 12 months of the application date may also be considered.
