The Voyage Global Leadership Development Program is designed for recent university graduates aiming to build leadership skills through hands-on experience at Marriott-managed hotels around the world. This full-time, paid program prepares associates by blending practical duty assignments with leadership training and mentorship.
Program Overview
Voyage is an award-winning program that focuses on leadership development combined with specific discipline training across 50+ countries. The program covers multiple areas such as:
- Accounting & Finance
- Culinary
- Engineering
- Event Operations
- Event Planning
- Food & Beverage Operations
- Human Resources
- Revenue Management
- Rooms Operations
- Sales & Marketing
- Information Technology
- Residences
The program duration is 18 months, during which participants rotate through various hotel functions to gain broad operational understanding and develop leadership capabilities.
Learning Experience and Responsibilities
- Engage directly with customers to build strong relationships
- Act as an innovation advocate within teams and processes
- Gain exposure to project and people management
- Identify and implement process improvements and initiatives
- Lead special projects utilizing comprehensive program training
Participants also join management meetings, collaborate globally with peers, and contribute ideas to solve operational challenges and improve the program experience for future cohorts.
Candidate Profile and Eligibility
- Graduated within the past year from a university or hotel school
- Bachelor's degree or higher required (Associate degree accepted for Culinary)
- Strong critical thinking and interpersonal skills
- Ability to build relationships and work collaboratively
- Self-driven and proactive personal management
- Genuine motivation for personal and career development
- Legal right to work in Singapore (citizen or permanent resident)
- Final year students graduating within 12 months may also be eligible
Additional Information
The program is based in Singapore at a Marriott hotel location and requires full-time onsite commitment. Onboarding timelines depend on position availability for the 2026 intake.
