Editage, the main brand of Cactus Communications, delivers translation solutions to assist researchers for whom English is a second language in sharing their scientific work globally. We are seeking experienced freelance translators to join our team.

As a Translator, you will merge linguistic proficiency with your subject matter expertise to aid researchers worldwide in publishing advanced academic papers in leading journals.

Job Overview

This role involves translating scholarly manuscripts written in various languages. Candidates must possess specialized technical knowledge in their field. Prior experience working in environments using foreign languages is preferred. The primary task involves converting academic research documents from the source language into native-level English or vice versa.

Eligibility Criteria

• Holding a degree in Translation or an equivalent qualification featuring substantial translation training from a recognized institution
• Possessing a graduate or higher degree in any discipline from a recognized higher education institution plus two years of solid professional translation experience
• Having five years of extensive professional translation experience
