About the Role

Deutsche Bahn is recruiting motivated professionals and career starters for over 500 different roles across Germany. We offer numerous entry-level and continuing education opportunities. Currently, we are seeking a Sicherungsplaner:in (Safety Planning Specialist) for DB Fahrwegdienste GmbH based in Koblenz.

Key Responsibilities

  • Responsible for creating safety plans (Sicherungsplan) for the Koblenz region.
  • Ensure correct application of Rimini guidelines, prepare safety planning documents, and handle project planning and plan reviews as needed.
  • Coordinate necessary changes in safety plans or projects with the BzS (regional management unit).
  • Support the construction site safety team in digital process enhancements.
  • Perform additional tasks as assigned by leadership within the scope of this role.

Candidate Profile

  • Completed commercial apprenticeship or equivalent qualification, plus certification as safety supervisor and training as a planner/plan reviewer for ATWS (automatic train warning systems).
  • Proficient in MS Office applications (Word, Excel) and SAP.
  • Demonstrates sustainable resource management, reliability, accountability, and strong communication skills.
  • Organized work approach guided by economic thinking and actions.
  • Displays readiness to work, resilience, teamwork capability, and positive conflict resolution and integration behavior.
