Overview

This permanent, full-time position at PlaceMakers Mt Wellington seeks a reliable Showroom Team Member who will act as the initial point of contact and knowledgeable advisor for building trade customers. The role involves providing expert product recommendations, ensuring a positive customer experience, and supporting sales operations at the trade counter.

Key Responsibilities

• Engage directly with customers, offering tailored product suggestions based on their preferences and needs.
• Handle processing of sales orders and item returns efficiently at the counter.
• Maintain stock organization and perform merchandising duties to keep inventory at optimal levels.
• Support in-store promotional activities and assist with setting up displays.
• Uphold store cleanliness and safety standards through routine housekeeping.

Working Hours and Location

This role is based full-time at our Mt Wellington showroom in Auckland, operating Monday through Friday from 6:30 AM to 3:00 PM, totaling 40 hours each week.
