Role Overview

We are seeking a seasoned Showroom Manager, referred to as Showroom Leader, to head our upcoming showroom in the Westside Provisions District. Joining the foundational Customer Experience and Sales Team, this key position will help establish our retail presence and drive an exceptional rug buying journey. You will lead a team of Design Assistants, manage all aspects of showroom sales, and foster strong relationships with clients and trade partners.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead, motivate, and develop a dynamic showroom team to achieve high performance and sales excellence.
• Set industry benchmarks for customer service through proactive engagement and follow-up.
• Manage team performance by setting clear goals, offering feedback and coaching, and conducting evaluations.
• Deliver expert product knowledge and interior design advice to customers across multiple communication channels including in-person, chat, email, phone, and video.
• Consistently exceed sales goals by understanding customer needs and recommending ideal custom rug solutions.
• Expand trade customer relationships through outreach, events, and comprehensive support before and after orders.
• Address customer questions and feedback professionally, aiming to create exceptional and memorable experiences.
• Maintain an inviting and well-organized showroom environment, oversee daily operations, and manage staff scheduling.
• Participate in recruitment, interviewing, and onboarding to build a strong team.
• Collaborate cross-functionally to represent customer interests and leverage technology to enhance project visualization.

Qualifications

• Minimum 5 years experience in consumer-focused roles, with at least 4 years in direct sales or account management.
• Proven capacity to coach sales teams and in-depth understanding of the sales lifecycle.
• Strong sales orientation demonstrated by consistent achievement of targets.
• Passion for interior design and home décor.
• Experience in retail management is required.
• Ability to work flexible hours including weekends and holidays.
• Exceptional interpersonal communication skills to build rapport with customers and staff.
• Highly organized, detail-focused, and capable of juggling multiple responsibilities.
• Solution-focused approach with sound judgment, business acumen, and integrity.
• Willingness to multitask and creatively solve problems.
• Proficient with software platforms including Salesforce, Google Suite, Shopify, and Zoom.
• Strong time management skills and accountability.
• Ability to initiate and improve operational processes.

Compensation and Benefits

The position includes a base salary ranging from $90,000 to $120,000, equity options, paid time off, and benefits such as medical, dental, vision insurance, and 401(k) plans. Actual salary will depend on candidate experience, education, and qualifications.
