Job Summary
The company is looking for a Showroom Inspection & Merchandising Executive to uphold brand presentation standards and ensure merchandising is executed consistently across distributor showrooms in several African markets. The position centers on showroom audits, display compliance checks, tracking corrective actions, and producing structured reports.
The ideal candidate brings hands-on experience with ceramics or building materials showrooms, a sharp eye for detail, and the ability to work smoothly with internal teams and distributor partners.
Key Responsibilities
- Carry out scheduled inspections of distributor showrooms according to company standards.
- Review product assortment and structure, sample rooms, display zones, racks, shelves, and overall showroom layout.
- Check lighting, sanitary ware installations, and general cleanliness during each visit.
- Spot areas that do not meet standards and identify opportunities to improve the presentation.
- Recommend corrective measures and monitor progress until distributors complete the required changes.
- Support merchandising work for newly launched products and showroom image enhancements.
- Capture 8 to 10 standard photos for every showroom, including the main display and sample room sections.
- Document inspection results, action items, and completion updates in formal reports.
- Prepare periodic inspection summaries and submit them to Headquarters.
- Work with Sales, Marketing, New Product Specialists, and distributor teams to resolve showroom-related concerns.
Qualifications and Experience
Applicants should hold a bachelor’s degree or higher, preferably in Marketing, Retail Management, Business, or a similar field.
The role requires 1 to 3 years of experience in showroom inspections, merchandising execution, or store auditing.
Background in ceramics, building materials, or sanitary ware is highly preferred.
Experience working with distributor networks and across multiple markets will be an added advantage.
