Shopify Project Manager | Client Success

Role Overview

We are seeking a Shopify Project Manager focused on client success to lead enterprise-level Shopify initiatives from early planning through launch and ongoing optimization. This position is based in Lucknow and requires onsite work. The ideal candidate will have 3+ years of experience and should be comfortable working in eCommerce, digital marketing, or a Shopify development agency environment. Candidates who can join immediately or with a short notice period are preferred.

What the Role Involves

This role is designed for someone who can manage complex Shopify projects, coordinate multiple teams, and ensure clients receive strong service and measurable business outcomes. You will work across strategy, development, marketing, and optimization while keeping delivery aligned with client goals.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead Shopify projects involving apps, integrations, and third-party tools.
• Take ownership of Shopify store delivery from planning and strategy through deployment and post-launch improvement.
• Manage Shopify Plus and other enterprise clients with a focus on scalable and reliable execution.
• Apply working knowledge of digital marketing channels such as Meta Ads, Google Ads, email marketing, SEO, and CRO.
• Coordinate development and marketing teams to support client success and business growth.

Required Experience and Skills

• At least 3 years of practical Shopify experience, including themes, APIs, customizations, and app integrations.
• Experience working with enterprise or high-traffic Shopify stores; Shopify Plus exposure is preferred.
• Strong understanding of Meta Ads, Google Ads, email marketing, SEO, and conversion rate optimization.
• Proven ability to manage projects, stakeholders, timelines, and client expectations effectively.
• Business-oriented thinking with the ability to explain technical topics in terms of business impact.

Preferred Background

• Experience with Shopify Plus and multi-store or multi-region eCommerce setups.
• Track record of improving conversion rates and revenue for high-volume stores.
• Hands-on experience with ERP/CRM integrations, headless commerce, and custom checkout flows.
• Ability to work with analytics tools such as Shopify Analytics, Google Analytics, heatmaps, and A/B testing platforms.
• Strong communication skills when working with senior stakeholders, including C-suite leaders and external clients.
• Previous experience in a Shopify, eCommerce, or digital marketing agency.
• Familiarity with Agile ways of working and tools such as Jira, Asana, and Trello.
• Excellent organization and multitasking skills for handling several projects and cross-functional teams.
