Job description
Overview
Plimsoll is seeking skilled Shooting Assistant Producers to join their award-winning creative team for an engaging new documentary series focused on British wildlife. This opportunity involves working as part of a BAFTA and Emmy-winning production crew based in Bristol.
Key Responsibilities
- Conduct on-location filming and direction as part of natural history documentaries.
- Engage extensively with filming techniques such as macro, remote, and behind-the-scenes camera operations.
- Collaborate effectively with the production team to deliver high-quality storytelling through visuals.
- Manage technical aspects of shooting with a strong focus on fieldwork.
Requirements
- Demonstrated passion and solid knowledge of British wildlife subjects.
- Experience in blue-chip natural history filmmaking, especially in producing impactful narratives.
- At least two accredited Assistant Producer credits.
- Valid driving license essential to support location-based work.
- Highly organized team-oriented mindset able to start promptly and contribute immediately.
Additional Information
The role is primarily based out of the Bristol office with remote working flexibility. The start date is set for August 2026.
