Researcher - British Wildlife Series

Overview

Plimsoll is seeking skilled Researchers to collaborate with their BAFTA and Emmy award-winning team on an engaging series centered on British wildlife. This role requires enthusiasm and expertise in British natural history, along with practical experience in top-tier natural history documentary production.

Responsibilities

• Identify intriguing story ideas and contribute creative concepts for the series.
• Build and maintain connections with contributors and collaborate closely with scientists and subject matter experts.
• Assist in securing suitable filming locations.
• Possess desirable camera operation and technical proficiencies to support production.

Candidate Profile

The ideal applicant will be an excellent communicator, exceptionally organized, and demonstrate a strong passion for natural history filmmaking.

Additional Requirements

• Must hold a valid driving licence.
• Must have a minimum of two Researcher-level credits.

Work Details

• Position based in the Bristol office.
• Start date targeted for July 2026.
